Eazy E

Eazy-E, born Eric Lynn Wright, was a pioneering figure in West Coast hip-hop and a founding member of the influential rap group N.W.A. Known as the "Godfather of Gangsta Rap," Eazy-E helped bring the raw realities of inner-city life to mainstream audiences through his unapologetic lyrics and distinctive delivery. He co-founded Ruthless Records and played a crucial role in shaping the gangsta rap genre. Despite his controversial persona, Eazy-E's impact on hip-hop culture remains significant, and his legacy endures, particularly through classic tracks like "Boyz-n-the-Hood." He passed away in 1995 due to complications from AIDS.
