Here at Amplified, we are music lovers and we know you are too!

We want to give back to a cause that best represents us, this is why this Black Friday and Cyber Monday we’re doing things a little differently.

For every purchase made 10% of sales will be donated to the Music Venue Trust, a registered UK charity that aims to act to protect, secure, and improve Grassroots Music Venues.

WHO IS MVT?

Music Venue Trust was established in 2014, they are a UK charity that acts to protect, secure, and help improve Grassroots Music Venues. Their goal is to secure a long-term future for iconic Grassroots venues around the UK.

Since they launched, they have so far provided support to over 900 venues around the UK. There are still venues at a high risk of closing down that still need help.

#OwnOurVenues launched this year which acts as a long-term campaign to take control of freeholds of music venue premises and bring them under a protected status of benevolent ownership.

Their aim is to raise 3.5m by the of 2022 to purchase 9 venues which they have chosen as a pilot project that will allow them to establish proof of concept.
They have currently chosen 6 venues in England, 2 in Wales, and 1 in Scotland.

URGENT APPEAL: THE FERRET, PRESTON

The venue in need of urgent help is The Ferret based in Preston,

a 200-capacity venue that launched back in 2006. They need the final push to raise 150k or they face the prospect of their landlord selling the building to a developer.

Help secure their venue, reach their target and continue hosting live shows for the foreseeable future.
