ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Willie wrote his first song at the age of just seven. Born in Texas in 1933 during the ‘Great Depression” he was raised by his grandparents who bought him a guitar for his 7th birthday and taught him a few chords. Nelson uses a variety of music styles to create his blend of country music, a hybrid of jazz, pop, blues, rock and folk. He has been iconic in the country music seen for decades now.
