ABOUT THE BAND:
Sublime was a Southern California-based band that gained widespread recognition in the 1990s for their unique fusion of punk, reggae, ska, and hip-hop influences. Formed in Long Beach in 1988, the band consisted of Bradley Nowell (vocals and guitar), Eric Wilson (bass), and Bud Gaugh (drums). Sublime's music was characterised by its laid-back, beachy vibes and Nowell's raspy vocals. Their breakthrough album, "Sublime," released in 1996, included hits like "What I Got" and "Santeria," showcasing their eclectic musical style. Tragically, Bradley Nowell passed away shortly before the album's release, cutting short the promising career of a band that left an indelible mark on the alternative music scene. Despite Nowell's untimely death, Sublime's music continues to resonate with fans, maintaining a dedicated following over the years.
