Canadian rapper Drake first gained fame for a role on TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation. He signed to Young Money Entertainment in 2009 and has hit singles Best I Ever Had and Successful. His debut album Thank Me Later reached number 1 in the Billboard 200 chart. His second album Take Care also reached number 1, and single The Motto popularised the acronym YOLO. He has written hit songs for other artists under the name C. Papi. For his own music, Drake has won a Grammy award 3 Juno Awards, and set several Billboard chart records.
