Behemoth is a Polish extreme metal band formed in 1991, widely regarded as one of the pioneers of blackened death metal. Known for their dark, intense music and theatrical live performances, the band combines blistering guitar riffs, thunderous drumming, and guttural vocals with themes rooted in mysticism, anti-religion, and philosophy. Led by founder and frontman Adam "Nergal" Darski, Behemoth has gained international acclaim for their groundbreaking albums such as Demigod (2004), The Satanist (2014), and I Loved You at Your Darkest (2018).
