ABOUT THE BAND:
Whitesnake is a British rock band formed in 1978 by David Coverdale, after his departure from Deep Purple. Known for their blues-influenced hard rock and powerful ballads, Whitesnake achieved commercial success in the 1980s with hits like "Here I Go Again" and "Is This Love." Their self-titled 1987 album was a massive success, propelling them to international fame.
