Hailing from New York, American rockers The Ramones band contributed heavily to the 70’s punk movement in the US and the UK. Joey, Johnny, Tommy & DeeDee collectively adopted the surname Ramone. Their standout hits include Blitzkrieg Bop & I Wanna Be Sedated. They were inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in 2002.
