Remembering Chester Bennington

21st July 2017

We couldn't believe the news this morning when it was announced that Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park, has sadly passed away.

Chester Bennington's voice was inarguably one of the most powerful male voices in mainstream music, which was instantly recognised in his first audition for Linkin Park in 1999.

Linkin Park faced many rejections in the start but Jeff Blue, now a vice president of A&R at Warner Bros, helped the band sign with Warner Bros. Records. In 2000 Linkin Park released their debut album, Hybrid Theory which was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America in 2005, making it the best-selling debut album of the decade.

Rest in Peace Chester Bennington, our thoughts go to his family, friends, and the Linkin Park family.
