Today (Monday 21st November) sees the rerelease of the most successful albums from the biggest rock band ever!
Oh yes! The Rolling Stones have just reissued a re-mastered, expanded, Super-Deluxe, Deluxe and Digital editions of their truly groundbreaking album ‘Some Girls’ which introduced them to a whole new generation of younger fans back in 1978.
This album which was the first with Ronnie Wood is considered their last great album. True of not, this album left it’s mark the their career and saw a big turning point for the band in the late ‘70s when the punk rock movement had critics doubting their relevance.
Not only has this classic album has a bit of a shake up and polish, it also features some amazing unheard recordings which have been unearthed from the depths of their archives by producer Don Was, as well as amazing new photos taken by Helmut Newton.
Thirty-three years on from its original release, this album can make a stir and has got so many die-hard fans handing over up to £80 for this amazing piece of rock memorabilia with all the trimmings including The Super-Deluxe version which includes a 7-inch single of “Beast of Burden” featuring its original banned sleeve art.
This amazing release is sure to be welcome with open arms to many Stones fans, the thought of unheard tracks and remastered classics has got many frantically searching online to get their hands on a copy.
One things for sure, this just made our Christmas wish list to santa a whole lot easier!
What a look!
Spotted leaving the BBC Radio 1 studios after attending the station’s Teen Awards at Wembley the other day where she performed her latest singles ‘Superhero’ and her number one hit ‘Swagger Jagger’, Cher showed the love for our fave real rock legends and showed us her modern take on a classic design.
Loving her simple but stylish get up with our tee taking pride of place against some high weight skinny trousers that are packed with attitude and flair with white Nike’s to really complete the look.

Always on the look out and keeping our ears close to the music ground, we really love it when a story floods through cyberspace that promises to make dreams come true!
Catching wind recently of perhaps the start of something truly magical, legendary Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has hinted of a special gig to take place in the band’s homeland London next year!
Talking to the press recently, Keith gave us all that shining ray of hope saying “Something’s blowing in the wind, the idea is there. We kind of know we should do it, but nobody’s put their finger on the moment yet.”
This event would mark the 50th anniversary of their first ever live show as ‘The Rolling Stones‘ which is no mean feat! To mark 50 years of anything is a special occasion, a birthday or wedding, but achieving half a century as a band…..now that’s something special!
For now all we can do is wait and hope that we’ll once again get to see these guys do what they do best and play those songs that defined a time in music and made them who they are, fingers crossed!
