Punk fashion witnesses yet another mainstream revival

Punk will forever be associated with British street style but every couple of years it sees a revival within catwalk fashion. Designers have always claimed that the British streets provide a massive source of inspiration for their work and in many of the Autumn/Winter 2010 collections this has been channeled through the revival of punky tartan and plaid kilts. Miu Miu, Burberry London, Christopher Kane, Pringle of Scotland have all referenced eighties punk through their kilt designs. See below for Chloe’s take on the trend:
