Style, flare, attitude, imagination….and that’s just the t-shirts!!

Check out our fave extreme sports champion and local BMX legend Bob Manchester showing his love for the music greats with a selection of our very own tees while tearing it up at an amazing dirt jump hot spot in Cambridge.

We love nothing more than to see our very own designs in their element and getting in on some real adrenaline fueled action so we just had to show you guys what he got up to.

Take a look and see how many of our designs you can spot!

Facebook Competition

Friday, April 15th, 2011

Spurred on by our latest Facebook competition, Amplified towers has been looking back at the weird and somehow strangely wonderful music videos of old, and boy oh boy did we find some beauties!!

We thought we’d share a few of our faves or well…not so favourite videos with you guys. Enjoy!

First up we have what we can only describe as two dads dancing at a wedding. Two music greats Mick Jagger and Bowie coming together for 1895′s live aid can surely only be a good thing right?? You decide.

We stumbled across this real clanger of a music video. Jammed full of dodgy video effects, random moments and some cringe worthy dance moves to match the lyrics, David Hasselhoff’s not so classic video just had to make the list. Enjoy!

Not the worst? If you know any as bad or even worse videos, enter our Facebook competition to win a cool £25 to spend on Amplified tees at SugarBullets.co.uk. Good luck!

Amplified spotted none other than Belle Amie’s Sophia Wardman rocking a Diamante Rolling Stones USA T-Shirt during an epic performance with music legend Bon Jovi. (more…)

Stone Roses ‘I Wanna Be Adored’ covered by The Raveonnettes

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

Not many artists have had the guts to cover anything by the Stone Roses but the Raveonettes have just done exactly that and the results are not bad. The iconic punk footwear brand Dr Martens have turned 50 and to celebrate they have commissioned 10 song covers, by 10 different artists each accompanied by it’s own video. The brand wanted artists to record a cult classic track which represents the spirit of the people who’ve worn DM’s over the past 50 years. You can view The Raveonettes video along with the nine other music videos here.
