Last Monday’s This Morning Show on ITV1 saw Dancing on Ice star Sam Attwater otherwise known as Leon from Eastenders, proudly showing some love for the absolute music greats with some of our very own classic designs.
We spotted Sam rocking one of our hugely popular ZZ Top foil logo charcoal tees during a chat with showbiz presenter Jeff Brazier outside the studios.

We really love the loud and proud style of this foil effect and much-loved logo on our signature charcoal tee. A must have for all you true classic rock lovers out there!
Also available in a ladies design, see the complete Amplified ZZ Top range here.
But wait there’s more!
We also spotted Sam in one of our Ian Brown Poster designs when recently featured in The Sun newspaper on the 24th of March.

Check out the lovely Ruth Lorenzo who back in 2008 snatched an impressive 5th place in X-Factor recently rocking one of our AC/DC tees during rehearsals with her new band The Raspberry Pattern, looking stunning as ever Ruth!

]]>This weeks we thought we’d bring you our top five albums as voted by us that we’re been rocking lately.
We have a few classic albums which have stayed in our hearts for years, as well as a few newbies we have come to love.
1) Kings of Leon – Come Around Sundown
- This latest album from some of our favourite Canadian rockers has defiantly been stuck in our heads all week with their latest single ‘Radioactive’. This has all new tracks with some influence from their musical roots and early work. Catchy stuff!
2) The Beatles – Revolver
- Do we need any other reason than it being by The Beatles? Well, no but with songs such as ‘Eleanor Rigby’ and ‘Tomorrow never knows’, it earned its place in our list.
3) Guns N Roses – Greatest Hits
- This album confirms that GNR were one of the best bands in history, fantastic compilation of all their greats, including our favourite track ‘Sweet Child of Mine’. Perfect album for any GNR fan…..that’s why we love it!
4) Led Zeppelin I: Remastered
- Back where it all began! What a way to enter the music scene too! The rough and soulful vocals of Rob Plant, combine with Jimmy Page on guitar….match made in heaven.
5) The Rolling Stones – Sticky Fingers
- Some of us described this as ‘the blueprint’ of rock, strong words but it’s hard to argue. This landmark of an album earned its way into our hearts many moons ago by bringing up ‘Can’t You Hear Me Knocking’ and ‘Brown Sugar’, and here it still is!
Stay tuned for more of our top five’s coming your way.
]]>This week, to kick things off, we figured we’d go for one of our best sellers, the faithful and classic Rolling Stone’s tongue design which helped launch Amplified back in the day.
The tongue itself was designed by John Pasche when he was a humble art student back in 1971 for the cover of the Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers album. Actually based on Mick Jagger’s mouth, it was created to represent the band’s anti-authoritarian attitude but has gone on to easily become one of the world’s most recognisable logos of the 20th Century.
We’ve given it a bit of a twist though by embellishing it with tonnes of individual rhinestones which looks pretty amazing against our classic, vintage inspired charcoal tee (even if we do say so ourselves!)
