After the release of the official trailer we’re more than a little bit excited for the highly anticipated documentary THE STONE ROSES: MADE OF STONE, about one of our favorite, legendary Manchester bands! It’s set to hit cinema screens in the UK on June the 5th after the premiere on 30th May in Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse. The band are planning rare public appearance alongside director Shane Meadows and producer Mark Herbert. The premier will be broadcast live in 100 cinemas nation wide.
In the film Meadows documents what happened behind the scenes during the bands 2012 reunion, including footage from their awesome hometown Heaton Park shows.
If like us you’re mad for Stone Roses and can’t wait until June then why not check out our amazing range of merch AVAILABLE NOW. Here are just a few of our favorites …
The Santa hats are out, the Christmas songs are on the radio (more The Ramones’ Merry Christmas (I Don’t Want to Fight Tonight) than Mariah) and the office is feeling jolly – it can only be the happiest time of year!
As well as celebrating the arrival of a fat guy in a red suit bearing presents and the birth of the son of God, Christmas has some important musical anniversaries, too. In fact, the Sex Pistols played their last ever UK gig on Christmas Eve, 1977 and the Beatles’ nine-week run at number 1 on the UK chart began on Christmas Day 1965. The album? Rubber Soul, which spent an impressive 42 weeks in the chart in total.
Whatever your plans over the festive period, eat drink and be merry, but pay homage to the great musical anniversaries we have, too in your new Amplified t-shirt (because there is one under your tree, right?)
After years of preparation, the 2012 London Olympics are just around the 100m track and we’re preparing for even more hectic tube journeys, exaggerated crowds and even busier tourist attractions, yet we’re not letting that dampen our Olympic spirit over at Amplified HQ!
With the opening and closing ceremonies set to be a veritable feast of musical talent – artists set to perform include Paul McCartney, Duran Duran, Snow Patrol and the Stereophonics – our Amplified band t-shirts, jumpers and vests for men and women will be perfect for the occasion! We’ve also heard rumours that Russell Brand will sing a rendition of The Sex Pistols’ 1977 hit ‘Pretty Vacant’, for which our Sex Pistols range would be ideal!
To get us all in the sporting mood and right into the swing of things, we’ve dived into the deep end of Amplified’s pool and showcased our favourite patriotic pieces, all available at www.thisispulp.co.uk:

And just in time for the Jubilee, Reveal’s Katie Piper is loving our Sex Pistols ‘God Save the Queen’ tee – available now at www.thisispulp.co.uk.

We’ve been busy at Amplified HQ as new designs are created and made and press interest in our range soars. We’ve had some Fabulous coverage that we’ve been Nuts about and we really want to Shout about it!
The month started with a piece in Take It Easy for all of you super-cool mums and dads out there – our Ramones logo baby grow was the mag’s pick of the week and is the hottest way to introduce your little one to the world of rock at an early age.
Lads mag Nuts listed a legendary Amplified style in its top 10 photo tees feature, while The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous mag teamed an iconic ladies Bowie tee with an electric blue suit for a look worthy of a front woman.
And for all of our younger fans, both Shout and Mizz were loving the sweeter side to our collection, with our lips tee and love heart ‘Love You’ style being featured, while Teen Now was loving Rihanna’s look after she tweeted a picture of herself in our iconic John Lennon tee.
We’re looking forward to seeing which of our iconic designs will be featured next month!
It’s been a wicked few months at Amplified HQ as celebrity after celebrity has stepped out in our effortlessly cool designs. From pop superstar Rihanna to A-list offspring Cruz Beckham, the industry elite has been rocking our iconic tees.
The Saturdays’ Una Healy started off the recent wave of Amplified celeb fans, sporting two different designs in just a few days. Since then, Cher Lloyd has rocked her Amplified Rolling Stones tee on the red carpet, as well as The Wanted as they performed to a packed arena, One Direction’s Harry Styles on his 18th birthday, Katie Piper in a primetime TV documentary and, of course, edgy –cool pop sensation Rihanna tweeted a picture of herself in our John Lennon design as she got a new inking.
Our most recent celeb fans come in a much smaller form as Cruz Beckham followed in his daddy’s footsteps (that’s David) and rocked a cool Pink Floyd Amplified tee, and Brad and Angelina’s daughter Shiloh teamed our iconic Ramones logo tee with cargo pants as she walked the dogs with her siblings.
We wonder who’ll be the next star to rock Amplified?
Even more celeb style press for you guys!
Last Monday’s This Morning Show on ITV1 saw Dancing on Ice star Sam Attwater otherwise known as Leon from Eastenders, proudly showing some love for the absolute music greats with some of our very own classic designs.
We spotted Sam rocking one of our hugely popular ZZ Top foil logo charcoal tees during a chat with showbiz presenter Jeff Brazier outside the studios.
Amplified has always been much loved by the very talented contestants of the X-factor. It seems that even after the dry ice has blown away, votes have been cast and record deals signed, they still can’t get enough!
Check out the lovely Ruth Lorenzo who back in 2008 snatched an impressive 5th place in X-Factor recently rocking one of our AC/DC tees during rehearsals with her new band The Raspberry Pattern, looking stunning as ever Ruth!
