Amplified 2011 Press Day

Kick starting in the early London hours last wednesday, the Amplified team set to work once again setting the scene for another chance to show of all new designs, shapes and styles that will be working their way to you in the coming weeks.

Taking place in one of our favourite spots in London’s Hackney known as The Depository (or ex Drangon’s Den studio to you and me), the smell of excitement for a new era was in the air once more.

Seeing the coming together of all our latest ideas and efforts, this special event allowed us to unveil our latest creations and really show off what’s to come from Amplified over the next few seasons.
The scene was set in one of the coolest places around, a perfect location that just screamed Amplified attitude known as ‘The Depositories’ in London’s Hackney, or perhaps better known as where hit TV show Dragons Den was filmed!

With hot new designs stretching from wall to wall, as well as cool vintage pieces dotted around, this amazing location housed the exciting future of Amplified as well as capturing the true feel of the brand and the people who make it what it is. To give you guys a taste of what we got up to on our big day we took some snaps along the way. Take a look!

Rolling Stones heroes Ronnie Wood and Mick Taylor are rumoured to be joining forces, amongst others, with guitarist Stephen Petit for one night only at legendary London Venue The 100 Club.

This exciting one-off treat has been put together to help save this amazing venue which was once host to music greats (including; Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols, The Who, and Oasis) from financial crisis. Once described as “the finest rock’n'roll club in the world” by Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, this event will hope to reduce the threat of tragic closure, and let the good times roll for years to come.
