Dark Souls Meets Zombie Boy

Amplified recently spotted alternative Canadian Artist and fashion Model Rick Genest or otherwise known as Zombie Boy, for slightly obvious reasons, in our very own vintage designs!

Tapping in to his ever-present dark side, Rick showed off some of his favourite Amplified pieces during a recent photo shoot and trip to Poland. Take a look!

AC/DC Hit The Bottle

From selling literally millions and millions of records (quite a few of which to us we’re sure!),  putting on sell out tours and shows all over the world to now…releasing their very own range of wines!?

It’s a well-known fact that a lot of rockers really ‘hit the bottle’ through their careers, well live-hard rock veterans AC/DC are about to bring a whole new meaning to the phrase with their own collection of red and white wines.

More familiar with record labels than wine labels, the band will be releasing a selection of bottles that have been inspired by the very hits that have served the band and fans for generations including classic titles; Back In Black Shiraz, Highway To Hell Cabernet Sauvignon, Hells Bells Sauvignon Blanc and You Shook Me All Night Long Moscato.

These guys are by no means the first to head down the long and wine-ding road as KISS, Motorhead, Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden and even Madonna have all put their names to their own head spinning creations.

This boozy collection will be available in Australia from this Thursday (18th), so… anyone fancy bringing us back a few bottles??! Go on!

Monopoly Take on Metallica!

If you think sitting around playing board games might be a bit…well…uncool, all that’s about to change!

One of the biggest and best board games Monopoly has just turned up the volume with their latest Metallica edition!

This special edition has been designed with true fans in mind, featuring historic Metallica events and locations around the board such as club shows, festivals, studios, childhood homes and other metal landmarks all up for grabs during your fast-dealing property trading.

Fans will get to choose from a pretty cool selection of game pieces including a Kill ‘Em All hammer, Justice scales, St. Anger fist, Black Album snake, ninja star, and the “Jump in the Fire” demon which you can see in the picture above.

This is by no means the first band or musician to put their name to the game, other bands who have ‘passed go’ include The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, KISS, Elvis and even Grateful Dead.
