Kasabian give ’send off party’ headline set at V Festival
Monday, August 23rd, 2010Kasabian closed last nights V Festival at Chelmsford with what will be their last performance before they go into hibernation to produce their fourth album. The band told NME that as the show was their last before recording it acted as a send off party for their current release West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum. Their set was the same as the previous headline slot the night before at the Highlands Park site.

Kasabian guarantee V Festival punters the night of their year with ‘rave’ headline slot
Wednesday, August 18th, 2010As part of an exclusive interview on gigwise.com Kasabian guitarist Sergio Pizzorio promises that the bands performances at this coming weekends V Festival will be one of the best nights out punters have had all year. The band play Weston Park in Staffordshire on Saturday and Hylands Park in Chelmsford on Sunday and ‘want to give people something to celebrate’. As part of their warm up they are playing a gig at Brixton Academy tomorrow evening (Aug 19th)
Festival Fashion in Cosmopolitan September Issue

The impressive shoot appears to have been taken on stage at a large festival just before a popular band were about to come on and start playing. We think the girls look great in their Amplified rock band t shirts and vintage inspired fashion!

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010Keri Kelli, guitarist with Alice Cooper was wearing a Rolling Stones T-shirt as he played on stage with his band Alice Cooper at Sonisphere. The band headlined on Friday at the Knebworth festival that was held in the first weekend of August.
Rolling Stones guitarist to appear with The Faces
Monday, August 9th, 2010Ronny Wood will appear on stage with seventies favourites The Faces at this coming weekends Vintage at Goodwood. The Rolling Stones guitarist is joining the band as part of the warm up for their January tour which he also plans to join them for. The three day music, fashion, film and art festival takes place at the West Sussex country estate which is also home to a retro racing track. The Faces fill the friday night headline slot on the main stage. Tickets for the three day event are still available via the festival website.
Hevy Music Festival

Worcester Music Festival 2010
Thursday, July 22nd, 2010Worcester Music Festival started in 2008.Most Gigs Are Free (some Charge £1 £2). There ain’t no specific place, so you gotta check all pubs, clubs, cafes, and historic buildings around, or near the city centre. It supports live, local and original music from all genres and catering for all ages.
The Festival is on from the 20th to 22nd August. Y’all get to check more than 130 bands and musicians. And the best bit is that it is free of charge!!! Yeh I ain’t kidding, you can still get stuff for free! But there are a few exceptions 
Each year the festival supports different local charities selected from a list of nominations. Money for the nominated charities is raised by way of a raffle, donations, collection buckets at the venues and merchandising sales.
