This week at Amplified HQ we’re loving B Famous London. A boutique fashion store, focusing on rock ‘n roll, the guys over there sell everything from band merchandise to miniature guitars and most importantly to us, the full range of Amplified products!

On this day in 1994

Pink Floyd fever has bought Amplified HQ to a stand still today leaving us all feeling a little ‘Comfortably Numb’!

On this evening in 1994, the band played the opening to a hefty 15-night run at Earls Court. Unfortunately, the first night didn’t quite go as planned – after a minute of playing, one of the stands holding the fans collapsed leading to the gig being cancelled.

Thankfully everyone was ok and with Pink Floyd not wanting to leave their fans feeling disappointed, the boys sent out a free T-shirt along with an apologetic note to the gig-goers and rescheduled the evening. We think that’s pretty awesome going!

So don’t be ‘Another Brick In The Wall’ and stand out in a Pink Floyd tee today from Amplifed. It might not be personally sent from the guys themselves but it’s the next best thing!

Amplified in the press

It looks like the word is spreading and fast. Amplified is growing by the day and the press loves our great range of statement tees – from men’s mags to women’s weeklies, newspapers and teenage reads, it’s all covered. Most recently, Zoo magazine, The Sun Online and Reveal have been loving our style.

Men’s bible Zoo was saluting all things American in a recent issue, recommending our ‘loud’ Fallen t-shirt as the perfect way to pay homage to the nation, while the Sun Online (top) listed our Ramones logo tee in its six of the best t-shirts feature.

Celebrities rock Amplified

Celebs rock Amplified

It’s been a wicked few months at Amplified HQ as celebrity after celebrity has stepped out in our effortlessly cool designs. From pop superstar Rihanna to A-list offspring Cruz Beckham, the industry elite has been rocking our iconic tees.

The Saturdays’ Una Healy started off the recent wave of Amplified celeb fans, sporting two different designs in just a few days. Since then, Cher Lloyd has rocked her Amplified Rolling Stones tee on the red carpet, as well as The Wanted as they performed to a packed arena, One Direction’s Harry Styles on his 18th birthday, Katie Piper in a primetime TV documentary and, of course, edgy –cool pop sensation Rihanna tweeted a picture of herself in our John Lennon design as she got a new inking.

Our most recent celeb fans come in a much smaller form as Cruz Beckham followed in his daddy’s footsteps (that’s David) and rocked a cool Pink Floyd Amplified tee, and Brad and Angelina’s daughter Shiloh teamed our iconic Ramones logo tee with cargo pants as she walked the dogs with her siblings.

We wonder who’ll be the next star to rock Amplified?

David Bowie Turns 65!

Crazy huh? Seems like only yesterday that the pop legend himself David Bowie was a young Ziggy, bringing the world some of the best music and movies! we’d ever seen.

Alas! Last weekend saw our own personal hero turn 65 which has definitely given us reason to celebrate! Looking back over his impressive collection of masterpieces, it’s really hard not to see how many of our best and most popular designs pay homage to this living legend.
