Since the beginning of time…well almost…there has been the ongoing debate as to who is the top rock n roll dogs, The Rolling Stones or The Beatles?
Well it seems they are getting prepared to once again fight it out, this time in the name of art? Oh yes!
As obsessed as we are these days with seeing what the chart toppers are really like behind closed doors with all the reality TV shows that frequently pop up, hows about checking out what the real stars of music got up to during their hay days?
Coming to the Proud Galleries Camden later this week will be The Beatles: Revolutionary 1965 exhibition by Michael Peto which promises to bring exciting photographs through the most significant years and moments of the band. This will give us an amazing glimpse into the recording studios where all the magic happened, as well letting us see what life was like being one of the biggest pop acts to exist.

Always wanting to compete, kicking off later in September over at Proud’s Chelsea Galleries will be ‘The Decca Years – The Rolling Stones‘ presented by Raj Prem Fine Art Photography.
Once again this amazing exhibition which will include snaps taken of the boys between 1962 and 1971 that will let us see just how life was being a Rolling Stone by featuring classic moments as well as intimate behind the scenes insights taken on their infamous 1969 US tour.

The Beatles exhibition will run from the 25th August to the 16th October while The Decca Years – Rolling Stones runs from 15th September until the 23rd October. Has to be worth a look!

The argument will go on forever, thankfully. If everyone liked the same music it would be really really boring.
Oasis vs Blur, Westlife vs Boyzone, Sex Pistols vs The Clash vs The Jam
Personally I’m a Stones man but The Beatles were FAB too!
