Amplified welcomed hard edged rock legends AC/DC to British shores for their 2009 tour with a competition organized in collaboration with NME. The 2 lucky winners grabbed 2 tickets to AC/DC’s opening London show at the O2 Arena and the 5 runners up received some Amplified t-shirts.

“The gig was absolutely amazing! They played all the old great stuff like Back in Black, Highway to Hell, Whole Lotta Rosie, TNT, The jack and For Those To Rock. My expectations weren’t so high as I normally don’t like huge venues like the O2 but we had the best seats just next to the stage and the sound was totally brilliant! It turned out to be one of the best gigs I have ever seen. This didn’t sound one bit like a bunch of ageing rockers but like a band in their prime! The boys still got it!
